2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Name, company or property name, email address and phone number submitted through our contact form or by email
- Service address, building access notes and equipment details you provide so we can perform work
- Billing contacts, purchase order numbers and payment references for invoicing
- Correspondence, including service history notes and photographs of equipment
Information collected automatically
- Standard server log data: IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps
- Cookie and local-storage data described in our Cookie Policy
- Aggregate analytics about which pages visitors use, only if you accept optional cookies
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data, and we do not collect information from children under 13.
3. How we use information

4. Advertising and measurement
We may advertise our services on search engines and other platforms, including Microsoft Advertising and Google Ads. Where advertising or conversion measurement tags are used, they are loaded only after you accept optional cookies. These providers may set their own identifiers subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
5. Sharing your information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who host this site, deliver our email, or process payments, bound by confidentiality obligations
- Equipment manufacturers or distributors, where necessary for a warranty claim on your behalf
- Licensed specialists engaged for a portion of a project, limited to what the work requires
- Authorities or regulators where disclosure is legally required
We never sell, rent or trade customer lists.
6. Retention
Service and equipment records are retained for the life of the client relationship plus the period required by California contractor and tax rules, typically seven years. Website analytics data is retained in aggregate form for up to 26 months. Contact-form submissions that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months.
7. Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to customer records is limited to Brendco staff who need it, protected by individual accounts and password policies. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but we review our practices annually.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, a copy in portable form, and to opt out of marketing email at any time. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Submit a request to finance@brendco.com; we verify identity before acting and respond within 45 days.

Pages on this site may link to manufacturers, utilities or rebate programs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active clients by email.
